Second and Fourth Wednesday nights at church!
7:00 p.m.
Union Springs Baptist Church Presents: Team Kid!
What is TeamKID and its purpose?
TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID—Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation—connect to teach life lessons to kids.

What is the TeamKID Club?
A TeamKID Club is a group of 30 or fewer children led by a head coach and at least one coach who use the TeamKID resources to enhance spiritual growth. The resources provide churches with many suggestions and ideas about setting up and running a TeamKID club.

Why is the KID capitalized in TeamKID?
The KID stands for Kids in Discipleship. Discipling children is the goal of TeamKID.

What happens in a TeamKID meeting?
TeamKID is designed for children to do more than memorize Scripture. It helps children understand what the verses they memorize mean because all parts of the TeamKID meeting focus on one Bible message. The noncompetitive games, Bible story, memory verse, missions, refreshments, and conclusion all contribute to help children understand and apply God’s Word to their lives.

The TeamKID motto: Learning about God. Using the Bible. Living for Jesus

Our club is made up of grades 1st – 6th graders and our focus is just as the TeamKID motto states:

Learning about God We want the students to know that they were created by a Real and Wonderful God who  loves and wants the best for them.

Using the BibleWe not only recite Bible verses and discuss the meaning, we practice using the Bible by looking up the verses. The more experienced children enjoy the race of being the first to find the verse and then helping the less experienced children.

Living for JesusWe use this time to discuss how the Bible relates to their lives. Jesus has a plan for the lives of children and how they should live. We want the children to understand that Jesus’ message is not just for adults!

Each class ends with a time for the children to voice their personal prayer requests. This is such a special time for us as leaders. The children express real concerns about real situations in their lives (family, pets, school,…). We enjoy hearing their requests and times when they discuss prayers that have been answered. Children are awesome people!

We are beginning a new study, STEP OUT: The Courage to Do What’s Right. Kids, like adults, sometimes know the right thing to do, but need to be equipped with the courage needed to do it. We look forward to the new study and the impact it will have on the children and us as teachers. Each lesson has activities and information that makes learning fun and memorable. We are also excited that our class is growing and look forward to continued growth.
